Eurovet Asia, the organizer of Interfiliere Hong Kong and Shanghai – the leading trade show network in Asia for lingerie, swimwear and activewear supply chain, has experienced a successful year with new initiatives and achievements.
Starting off with Interfiliere Hong Kong, which successfully set sail on March 27th, 2018 on a 2 days of discovery of innovations and high quality materials, the show presented a diversified and premium exhibitorship of 75 companies and welcomed 1600 international visitors which surpassed the organizer’s objective by 33%. It highlighted a series of key features including the Gallery, Creativ’ Lab, Conferences, Studio and Award of Excellence with PolyU. The Hong Kong edition was highly praised for the courageous and pioneering decision to take this curated industry event a step further with new insights, generating fresh dynamics by welcoming professionals and experts from bodyfashion industry and beyond, and synergizing with advanced technology in facilitating an innovative way of exchanging business and ideas!
On 26 – 27 Sept, 2018, the Shanghai edition demonstrated a dynamic and business-driven ambiance, which has once again reinforced its commitment to a networking community where orders were placed, new leads were generated and unparalleled insights were decoded by a selection of industry experts. It has welcomed 151 high-caliber suppliers with wide-ranging offerings from fabrics, lace, accessories, embroidery, OEM & OEM, machinery, fibers and textile designers. Notably, 55% of the suppliers has committed their manufacturing process and products towards a sustainable way. Meanwhile, acceptance of low MOQ was proposed by more than 20% of the suppliers. Visitor flow remained steady and strong as 2017, while the quality, as endorsed by the suppliers, were ensured at its premium level. Key features curated at the show: Trend Forum, Prototype Fashion Show, Innovation Forum, Interfeel’Awards, Young Label Awards, conferences and seminars, Gen Z Fashion Show and networking cocktail.
2018 marks as a year that Eurovet has built a stronger connection with Chinese industries, starting with the announcement of long term strategic partnership with Tmall in July 2018. Eurovet Group and Alibaba Group’s B2C leading online retail platform Tmall launched a long-term strategic partnership with the goal of accelerating their cooperation in China and all international markets.
On 26th Sept,2018, Eurovet took a step further by signing partnership agreement with Jinjiang Swimwear Industry Association (JJSIA) during a press conference. Marie Laure stated the vision of the collaboration: “Interfiliere Shanghai 2018 is only a start, the first stone of our cooperation, and we are today signing with the Association an agreement, that will be the framework of a more global cooperation between us. Because we believe that together, we are stronger and we grow faster.” Marie Laure also emphasised: “With China being the largest market in the world, we do believe that swimwear will experience exponential growth in the coming years, and associations such as JJSIA will play an important role in this industry.”
